coachella update

i know it's been a few weeks since I got back from Coachella, and after reluctantly unpacking (and taking a little over a week to unpack a tiny suitcase) I just didn't have the energy to update. Anyway... Coachella was awesome. TV on the Radio, aside from being my favorite band, was my favorite performance of the festival. My only complaint was the incessant amount of moshing that interrupted my enjoyment. Lupe Fiasco was great, as was Band of Horses (although I was only able to catch a couple of their songs.) Girl Talk and MSTRKRFT were, as always, sweet dance parties (John Legend came on stage during MSTRKRFT.) The Tings Tings and Peter, Bjorn and John: good. Late of the Pier - it was the first time I had heard any of their songs, and they were also good. I was a bit disappointed with MIA though, to be honest. Aside from the sweet bands, I'm going to have to say that I had the best fish tacos there! And I can't stop thinking about having a Chelata (Beer, Clamato, Salt and Lime.) People watching was also one of my favorite activities -- just hanging out at the food court (field?) watching people walk by with interesting outfits, accessories, etc..
Anyhooo...That's about all I can think of writing at the moment. My mind is still clouded over from a concoction of Guinness and Strongbow mixed with sleepiness.
'til next time.

"Life's Uncertain. Eat dessert first" As much as I want to stay fit and healthy I want cupcakes more.

No LoOkING BacK!!!!

As I sit here contemplating what to write, it occurred to me how frustrating some people can be. As I just recently realized and began to accept is that sometimes in life a person just need to let things or someone go. No matter what the importance of your relationship is/was shit happens and it just better to move on. As recent events unravelled in my not so exciting year, I am now willing to let people go no matter what the circumstances are. No more reminiscing about the past, and it is now time to look upon the future without looking back, no regrets. There's no point in dwelling on it if the other person is probably not even thinking about you. Friendships are so tough sometimes. This is really depressing for a first post but we have yet to see what the summer will bring and hopefully it will be much brighter than this post.

california dreamin'

went to Indio, California for a few days to take in the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. What a great mix of people getting together to enjoy awesome music! I'm already missing the free living and the sun, sun, sun!

I'll post some highlights after I finish unpacking, which is one of the things I most hate doing!
